MISSION

MISSION STATEMENT

As a reflection of God's love, Saint Andrew's Lighthouse, Inc. is established as an outreach mission of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (by the Sea) and our community for the purpose of providing low or no cost temporary housing in a 'home away from home' atmosphere, for patients and families traveling to the Jacksonville area for advanced medical evaluation and prolonged treatment.

SUPPORT

We support families in the healing process by easing the financial, physical and emotional stresses that accompany serious illness and injury, by providing true hospitality in a supportive, caring environment.  Our vision for the Lighthouse is to create a 'home away from home' for our guests.

COMFORT

Our volunteers make every effort to ensure a comfortable, positive experience at the Lighthouse.  Patients and their families also find that sharing their feelings with other guests provides crucial support and companionship in their difficult time.
